Hi all, my s60 has a black and gold theme. Gold body, gloss black wheels, black tints and a gloss black rear spoiler, so was thinking of getting my bonnet wrapped in carbon fibre effect, has anyone done theirs and who did it, and how much. I am in Leeds/bradford area. Cheers

Er.....PICS!!!!!.. Don't think Vynl wrapping is too expensive, after all it's just a big sticker.

Full car wrap can cost £1500-2000, so it is not a cheap job.. Not sure how much just a bonnet would be.

SOmeone told me they only last for a few years - not entirely sure about that one though - just make sure there is no untreated chips/rust underneath

I saw a pug 106 done and you could tell it was only a wrap and poorly fitted at that round the edges. Personally I would save the money for a real C/F bonnet or just do without.

think i am just gunna do some lower side stripes in black, a la focus st style. managed to get a pic. (before rear spoiler fitted tho) been on dyno yesterday too, bit down on rica figures, but still pleased, was 175bhp, now 212. was 188lbs, now 235lbs happy with that, considering its done almost 160k

Ive seen a couple done a brand new 911 turbo looked tatty round the lights and seems, but i am fussy with stuff like that, im sure most think its a good job, even the focus rs 500 isnt perfect and thats from factory

yeh, i agree. bad idea man. much nicer to give your motor a good polish, stand back and admire!!!

A half wrapped car is just as bad to clean, I have to watch where the polish goes!
