Just thought id share this im building and hopefully il get some advice on here along the way. Its not strictly a volvo but is powered by a volvo engine... kind of. It a 1960 ford 100e with a focus st/rs225 engine that i have converted to rwd with the use of a cosworth t5 gearbox , custom adaptor plate and volvo bellhousing. Its dry sumped and will be running vipec v88 ecu and should be circa 300bhp when finished....in a car thats 600kg its goning to be a bit of a handful. Its still a while off being finished but hoping for spring 2012. Image Image Image Image

wow awesome!! Change the IC on it... stock one is poor. Also forge CBV and renewing MAF and FPS depending on the age of the engine will help a lot! You prob know this already of course as your clearly an engineering god :)

Cheers for that. Definatly keep us up to date on your project, as it does have a volve engine in it. As i always tell anyone who has a focus st "you do know its got a volvo engine" lol
