Hello all very hard to exsplain but here we go!
I have everything ready to rebuild my engine now but ive noticed a shot to bits gasket on the crank located waterpump end, it has all fallen out but i cant see why its there all thats behind it is metal ive searched for one but cant find it do i realy need it ive got a good instant gasket sealer will this work? I dont want to bodge it but struggling to find it and see what it does?

Sounds like the front crank seal to me

No its a paper gasket on the inside of the independant block its around 8 inches round and an inch in width ill try n get a picture tomorow.

I know the one, its the oil pump gasket! I got mine again from the dealer.

Is that what it is thats crank out to replace it. Obviously i need it then lol. It is a paper gasket isint it?

I think it can be replaced without removing the crank, I'm fairly sure it can be :)
