Hey I'm coming lol, anyone wanna do a convoy? Perhaps the Essex Crew will come down in one. lol Count me in!!

Post 422189 by LiamT4 on 2011-11-06 14:10:02

If enough people go i may come to this. I'd say convoy down from the midlands, but you wouldn't want to convoy with me as i now drive VERY slow on long journeys, 65mph, as i'm doing so many miles lately its costing me a bloody fortune. lol
Why?
Lack of calories/low blood sugar....basically ended up with really bad shakes, light headed, finding it hard to stay awake.......probably not the best state to shoot past you in so apologies.....though Emlyn followed. ate some crap and drank some high sugar drinks.......nearly killed the guys behind the counter as they were pissing about though. After a bit I was fine.
I wouldn't mind an s60t5, but the geartronics just sound weaker than my 4spd auto.
Umm 100k plus and I believe they can become troublesome. That said I know of a V70R which is still on it's original transmission and that's done 180k... It's had everything else around it mind.. lol

Infact I can still remember the sound of Richards Volvo, sounded fantastic :)
Hopefully he will have his S70 sorted soon......though I'm sure his Skoda VRS is still better than that vectra!
Funny you should mension that... On the Skoda front the Octavia is a brilliant car, infact I would say it fits into the Volvo cetegory certainly in terms of the shock factor, very much a sleeper with subtle differences. Guess because of its VW relation, the skods vrs is a bit more known now.

The VW relation is definately the reason, the less informed chav obviously knows no less as his primary concern in life is lycra and plastic.
