Well its been a while since my first post but amazingly my car has not sold hence no updates!!!! :jaw:
Anyway i have found an 850 T5R on Ebay and the guy is prepared to do a swap for my car which would be ideal.
Can you take a look and give me your opinions - keen to know the value of it on the open market and also anything i should be asking him.
It only has part history and i have asked him to confirm how much and if its original clutch??? This he is checking.
Its quite a way to travel for me hence would really like to get some views etc on it.

Basically he knows nothing about theese cars so thet could be to your advantage.
Obviously you need to ensure cambelt service was done at the right times.
Account for £50 a wheel for refurb.
get him to put a full MOT on it (cant remember what the ad said).
If he is happy to do that then it cant be too bad.
It might be and looks nice but...he knows nowt about em..

Ahh i see........ok so maybe not a good one to buy then!!! It did seem he knew little about the car which i guess is a bad thing - prob not looked after correctly etc.
Oh well there are plenty out there will carry on looking.

I know u have to get your t5 shifted first though...
Im not saying the one on E bay is sh1te...just he does not know about the cars..
