Oh dear since Jims70r suggested i put my standard grille back on i cant STOP cleaning her LOL.
Been in the Garage tonight Cleaning
OSF Bonnet Hinge, Filler cap which i removed completely then cleaned and
Re fitted.

Thanks Jim, lol it's far from mint, But she's getting better and better although i worried i'm going to get her to a Standard where i dont wanna drive her ie in the rain lol.

we actually told a mate that his Rover will go faster if he waxed it because it'll cut thru the air better lol. Car washing takes effort, which i don't like lol

Trust me, if you get her to a point where its spankingly clean and you have the correct protection it should only take you about 30 mins to clean her. Make sure you have a snow foam gun, spray all over, jet wash off, use the 2 bucket method and jet off again. If you have plenty of wax on her you should be able to dry her with a hose pipe and then use something like megs last touch to top up the wax content

I did the full works on the big sweed on Wednesday, last week. Although she's several shades of white, peppered with dings an has tape on the roof because the bunged-up holes the plod left in it let in water, ive done 500 miles since (ace cafe meet and commuting) she's still sparkley and rain and mud just roll of:) well, thats it for another 6 months lol.

If you drain your screen wash she will fly lol. Stupid time to make a post but just back from work.
