Is it just me or what? Seems when I visit this site at late night/very early morning, the site is VERY slow at responding. Sometimes it takes ages to connect. My 'puter says 'waiting for VolvoT5 to respond'.
During the day its fine. always seems at night its VERY slow.
Just you.... lol
if I click my fave's list, and navigate away and sniff about all other sites are fine, no connection problems, speed is fine. My net speed averages 6.8 meg. Its JUST here that takes ages. Just did a quick...read a thread, send a pm and count. took over 70 secs to get from pm sent back to the thread. Its a consistent late night problem. No other times. Always seems after midnight.

Ill have to talk with Justin on this one, I can only assume its due to the daily backup and clean-up background cycles which run during "silent hours"

So am I the only one who doesn't experience the slow running then? I've even logged on tonight with my iPhone and the speed is still fine... Albeit on the home wifi so same connection different machine...

Yeah me too..
Mr Moose
I also get (on 02 3G dongle & 13 meg(sic) broadband) the following usually unhelpful Microsoft message >"Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage" <
No "404" errors, but when I reload or jump back then I can load a page ?!?
So maybe is a routing/timeout problem ?
NO IT QUESTIONS PLEASE >>>>>I'M GUESSING<<<<<<
Post 428866 by Erik The Viking on 2011-11-22 23:47:56
PMSL
When I posted that msg.... I got the same "cannot" msg, Soooo I did reload... the page and " hey presto, thank you debbie magee, do you like my wig, you'll like this ...NOT a LOT - Paul Daniels (he was a TV Magician for you younger peps)
Sorry I do go off on a tangent....
Amazingly NOW my post is, well... posted !! (Just for you wipper snappers ; D)
Thank you, Good Night and Much Love - Terry said it best !

Mega slow for me just now, took ages to load new posts. I tested other sites to make sure it wasn't just my computer and they loaded mega quick.

Right guys, apologies this has taken so long, it should now be resolved.
We migrated servers a few weeks ago and one of the indexes had got mismatched in the process.
I have just speed tested the site and it loads for me on 20mb in 1.1 seconds. :)

Seems to be OK for me - running the 02 dongle (3G) as I'm working away.
