The Same as a 16t angled Exhaust housing?
Trying to find a front pipe/cat to suite, All the exhaust housings are interchangible but it's the front pipe which differ's.
Here's a pic of a 15g straight housing, and the 18t housing

My thinking is to get a Cat/front pipe from a 2004 or at least a me7 v70 running a angled 16t and mod it to fit the 18t on my 850.
Does this sound pluresible ?

19t with a 2.5" straight flange, i don't think it makes any difference with our cars mate my car still made 300bhp at 17psi

The angled housing is the better item to have and they are less prone to cracking. The angled housing is a better shape and the outlet is in a better position for the exhaust gas to exit the turbine. You will be best to get an angled housing from a 2001 on 70 or 60 T5. Remember though that the T5 switched to using the K24 from 2005. The angled housings on the pre 2000/2001 phase 2 70 series model 70 series ME7 cars have a smaller inlet into the turbine housing from the manifold flange side as they use the same manifold with slight alterations to it, as the motronic T5 manifolds. The later models are much more open as they use the Japanifold ME7 manifold that many people use.

i think all the "t" turbos were the same size exhaust housing (straight flange)

The 16t came in pre ME7 Straight flange, Early ME7 angled and later ME7 angled. The 18t came in Straight, Early ME7 angled, the 19t came in late ME7 angled. The CHRA on all the models can vary slightly with water jacket holes being in different places due to the application intended.
