Unbelievable aren't they. I pay straightaway when I buy something on eBay, never mind almost 3 days later like your customer. Wonder what, if any, feedback they'll leave you?

I recently bought an SD card on eBay, 4 four days later it wasnt marked as posted, when in the advert the seller stated it would be posted within 2 working days. I thought i'd leave it another day. The next day the listing had been removed, and all the sellers profile had been emptied! I opened a case with ebay, and then got a snotty email from the seller saying she had posted the item, and there was the tracking number. She was mouthing off saying she couldnt believe how i'd been do inpatient! I thought it was justified. But all is well now, the item has been delivered. Tricky on eBay, some people expect alot more than is possible!

I have left 1 negative feedback in 3years `cos 3 weeks later no item no reply had to claim money back. Also my wife stupidly bought a blackberry from US for £330 and customs wanted another £68 so told the seller I`m not paying that `cos he didn`t send it as a gift and that was the whole idea of bargain so agreed to refund when he gets it back and the item been back to Uk again and last records back to US and the seller denying he got it so £330 lost.So much for trusting ppl.

Don't worry we get that sort of thing. Last week we had someone contact us saying that we said on the web site we dispatch within two days. As it was now three days and they had not had their goods they want their money back. I pointed out that from the time they had ordered to the time it was dispatched was 44 hours, and we do state working days and as their order had not come in until 7pm it was well within the time stated as well. Funny thing we didn't hear anymore from them. :)

Some people are forgetting its also Xmas, the busiest time of the year for posties. I remember one conversation with a woman who asked me when she would be receiving a cheque we sent out. I explained it had been posted the day before by 1st class and still she asked when she would get it. She got arsey when I explained I dont work for the royal mail so how could I give her an exact day it would be posted. THEN she asked if I would call Royal Mail to ask them. Erm, no.

and always send any ebay items recorded delivery as a minimum but better to send special delivery as insurance is much better..A tip as well if over 3 kg send it parcel force as not only cheaper and online tracking and can be sent at any post office... anything under 3 kg send by royal mail unless its what they call oversize which is basically if it cant be held by 1 hand its oversize.. and parcel force will collect from your own house if done online..

Morons, as if they're stupid enough to sell the same phone on the same website and open a dispute!

some people do like to try it. When i sold a brand-new recirc valve which went for £50-60, paid ok & i sent it out, got an email saying it was split & perished. I appologised knowing it was perfect & said i'd refund one they send it back, never heard any more

My advise is empty your PayPal account quickly. Knowing how helpful :slap: eBay are towards their sellers, they'll award the muppet a refund from your account. Steve

Once sold an iPhone on ebay, perfect working order. NO ISSUES of any kind. Buyer stated it was for his 13 yr olds birthday. Sent it next day delivery. 2 weeks later, no feedback. then 1 week later, got a message from paypal saying item not as described as the screen had 3 dead pixel lines. And, the phone kept shutting down. And, It had a dent in the top that was not mentioned. Paypal took the money back from me. Paypal insisted that the phone be sent back to me which it was. Buyer swore blind the phone was received and wrapped immediately ready for girlys birthday. NEVER BEEN USED. 'we can prove that its never been used too!!!!' (not). Got the phone back and sparked it up. Kicked into life, Then surprise surprise, pulled a mahooooosive call log, text messages, all sorts of personal pictures (nothing indecent, Just 'oh an iphone, look at the pictures it takes' type). I compared the pictures I took for the original listing to the phones condition. 110% it had been used for 2 weeks, and blatantly dropped and broken by her. Called the mother (lifted her number from the iPhone) to discuss it. To say she abused/threatened me is an understatement!!!! Then phoned paypal and passed all the call logs, texts and statements from them that the phone hadn't been used. Also sent the 'before & after' pictures. Paypal reported them to ebay, reinstated my money for payment, And... I kept the phone. sold it later as spares/ repairs. They got found out!!!! Police even contacted them regarding fraud. LOL

I had an issue when selling a phone, they guy wanted to hack it and as I had done it previously he asked me how to do it, told him and he then said it was broken as he couldnt do it right. I offered to phone the guy and big mistake that was. Ended up explaining to him how ot hack it where as a quick look on the internet would have told him. In the end I said he had paid for the phone not my expertise. He raised a dispute but I had saved the emails and sent copies to ebay. I won. Always get as much info as poss including screen grabs. that way it shows you have done your homework rather than the usual he said, she said, they said.
