My bulbs from the USA arrived today and I can confirm that they fit and work perfectly in my 805 stereo. They are Honda Accord 98-02 clock bulbs, and I'm sure that we could get them from UK Honda dealers.

Then take the blue rubber cap off the old bulb and place on the new bulb to give the same level of brightness.
Nice work, I can't stand interior bulb failures so it's good to know that replacement bulbs can be sourced if required. To confirm yes you can get the clock light bulb seperately from Honda main dealers ;)

I've had the front off before as I took all the blue covers off and painted the bulbs red so they match the speedo. :)

What stereo is yours?
Think it's an 805... I'm 3 sheets to the wind at the minute so can't remember without going out in the rain. Lol. I think there were about 6 or 7 in total. There's a pic in my project thread but it's a bit blurry.

One of the seat belt warning lights was also out and it's now sorted, and the last one is a bulb behind the speedo, which I got from Dazab yesterday. Just to fit it now.
Yeah I hate bulbs being out. Missus says she can't notice it but I know it's out... Thats enough. Lol.

Collected my wife's 156 in July, and I drove it Home. Noticed bulb behind the temperature gauge was out and she wasn't bothered. I just had to fix it, and must admit that I struggled a bit, but I did fix it. Car wasn't reaching temperature even after travelling 50 miles but she wasn't bothered. She would have been when the weather got cooler if I hadn't replaced the thermostat though!
Can I just add that the new bulbs do need to be twisted as far as they'll go or otherwise they may not work, as I've just discovered whilst checking mine in the dark.
Volvo used to sell them, they are same as bulbs from the dash switches (fog lights etc) http://www.vpcuk.org/forums/showpost.php?p=257531&postcount=2 used to be about a quid each, IIRC and I haven't done one for a few years, you have to remove the blue cap off old bulb, and slip onto new one

Thanks for the tip though, and I had to do what you mention about the blue caps, to ensure all the bulbs are the same level of brightness.

Next time I need one, I'll try the dealer but ask for switch bulbs!
If anyone wants the bulbs for the radio lights and the dash and various switched then i stumbled across www.autobulbsdirect.co.uk they sell the majority of bulbs and delivered quickly. They are internet based only probably because it is cheaper to do buisness that way. I purchased a pack of 10 dash bulbs for my 850 from them and noticed they do the radio and both types of switch bulbs i.e long and short. hope this helps other out in the future.

Like you say, they are very quick.
When mine went on my 901 I got some from Maplin. All you get is the actual bulb with 2 contact prongs. Just simply straighten the prongs on the faulty bulb, remove from the twisty holster, replace with new bulb and there you have it! This was about 4 years ago now but I'm sure they still sell them.
