Oulton was awesome in November. Personally I'd give up RAF Marham in preference for this anyday.
Anyone else? I am as you can see trying to put as many track miles in before the baby arrives.

Yes I am just wondering if 3 track days in as many months will be too much for the old gal.
Oh sod it - this is as about as local as it gets for me.

Booked on this as well. I have also booked a pit lane garage (which holds 2 cars) - so if anyone else was interested then you can come along.
I have spare room at my house which is only 40 - 50 minute drive from the Track, for anyone coming from further a field?

Looks at this rate that I will be on my own?
Anyone fancy coming as a passenger/driver? You don't even then need to break your own car LOL
Ferris Bueller has nothing on me.

good day then dave? How does the track compare to cadwell? see an rs turbo there, how did that go?
Post 469146 by Wobbly Dave on 2012-03-02 21:20:08
I went out with Stuart - the ARDS intructor - on the whole I did really well - few mistakes here & there but Betsy held her own & surprised a few. Many complementary things said about the under bonnet bling & how flat the car looked in the corners.
Post 469161 by Wobbly Dave on 2012-03-02 21:28:21
Frankie - I'd say they are quite similar - Oulton is a little flatter, there is still some rise & fall but not the extremes that you see at Cadwell, which essentially sits in a valley. The straights are not as long but there are more of them. It is definitely worth putting on the list of tracks to do. I've done it twice now & I am starting to find my way. Stu said I was definitely fearless. Oulton has 2 chicanes - both which take skill & care to master - not to mention the imfamous druids corner.
The next one for Track action online is in November - I am almost 100 percent I would do it again.
Cadwell still remains my fav. Donnington is next on my list.

Sounds and looks like you had a good day Wobbles!! Betsy looks sweet in them pics.
I take it from your description of the track it was less vomit inducing than Cadwell?
Post 469169 by Wobbly Dave on 2012-03-02 21:35:32
Well I always attempt to be smooth with my controls - so perhaps you should ride out wiv me next time?
Oulton still has its fair share of corners - more chicanes.

Thanks for the offer but I am a total scaredy cat! It was the dips and cambers at Cadwell that made me feel sick!!!!!!
I'll see how brave I get next time me n Rich get to a track day :D

Looks good Wobbly! Thanks for the comparison to Cadwell (that being my 1st track will always be my favourite) but this looks like a good track to do!
