mines a bit noticeable with the exhaust valve open
Looking forward to hearing it like that. I should get a vid of my mates skyline, straight through, no cat, its quite loud. It has a screamer pipe on it as well, so when its on boost its stupid! lol Problem is that its so loud it just gets distorted when you try to film it.

The exhaust on my T4 was quite loud. Then there's the one on my Saxo, with the screamer pipe out the front bumper! The R is positively silent in comparison.

Asked my mate what he does when he's in his skyline and he sees a police car, his reply was " stick it in top and take my foot of the pedal" lol

Anyone got a little vid of there exhaust I'm hoping mine isn't to loud for mot.

Post 447563 by jayeastanglia on 2012-01-10 12:13:52

slacken throttle cable as well for mot but make sure it will rev to 2000rpm for emmisions test.mot stations dont currently have a noise meter but can only fail a exhaust for excessive noise which is really down to the mot tester

This one's for a 3" , you just drill a small hole in the tail pipe, push the baffle in and screw a self tapper into it, then you can take it in and out as you like :) http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/140MM-EXHAUST-BAFFLE-DECIBEL-KILLER-3-76MM-PIPE-/310319306288?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item484078d630
