Very nice S.T. Took me a while to work out what was in the front seat - that hat looked like you had some sort of animal in there lol ;)

Very nice indeed sir. I bet passers by thought you were a bit of a loon putting the top down in the middle of January! (Liking the name, by the way!)
Theres no better way of opening the roof than a disguised child :D
Lol indeed. I'm surprised the roof still works. My son had it up and down so many times yesterday lol. Good job it's still under Volvo for another two years. And yes. My son dressed in his Eskimo disguise. We went skiing in Folkestone but he looked a bit of a troll with just his hat above the door frame lol :)

Post 449995 by T5RPete on 2012-01-16 10:45:32

Very nice! Although that roof looks impossibly complicated!

only possible if you take your shoes off & you have a stick to hold down the brake pedal.
only possible if you take your shoes off & you have a stick to hold down the brake pedal.
Lol. Thanks Dave. It will try that later when home from work. Took me ages finding a safe parking spot in the base carpark. If there is a scratch or dent in her when I get back to the base. There will be nuclear fallout over Hertfordshire :)

Yet again you've got yourself another nice Volvo and going by your last one I'm sure she'll get plenty of love & care!!

Post 450461 by AndysR on 2012-01-16 22:32:13

Stunning looking car and a great choice of backdrop too! You sound smitten with your new purchase and from the looks of things you have every right to be too! :)

Post 450560 by Storm-Troll on 2012-01-16 23:49:31

Cheers guys. Yep. Smitten indeed. Just love driving with the roof down most of all. U cannot beat the openness of having no walls or roof. It's the closest u can get to the freedom of a bike on 4 wheels lol and the Dynaudio sound system just enhances the drive. Damn. I just drive it for the hell of it. Just been for a drive round the central London night life with the top down.... Is it possible to grin in your sleep? Lol :)

One question that I can't hold in any longer... is it a 5-pot? far too many new volvos have T5 on them and only have a 4-pot. I'm sure it goes great and delivers just as much but what made 33% of the T5 experience for me is the 5-pot roar.

I can only imagine what its going to be like after the map :)
RS cpmversion - u know u wanna.
At this very moment Wobbley I'm sat here having breakfast while Eleanor is having her tints fitted. Limo on the back and dark on all the sides like my S60 had. Will save the Rs conversion for after the remap lol

Larger injectors, larger FMIC, turbo change, race DP, cat back, remap & possibly LSD. 500NM is achievable.
