I know I could go to Volvo to Plug in my chassis number, but I was looking on euro car parts at pattern parts. They list a SKF, orbis or SNR any ideas? I'm guessing that SKF and Orbis are just different manufacturer. The SNR does look odd with a bolt holding the driveshaft(??). Anyway if anyone has a bit of identification advice I will be getting one tomorrow as the new wishbones have highlighted that the front hub was seriously loose in two areas..

if yours is a ME7 car it should have a bolt holding the driveshaft as apposed to a large nut Simon

97 cars, I'm fairly certain use the 850 type wheel bearing. Your CV joint shold be held on with a nut, the later (late 99>) used a bolt I'm guessin'g that SKF and Orbis are just different manufacturer.' Yeah, they are, never heard of Orbis, I'd go with SKF, very good make.
