Hi Southern Softies!
I'm in a bit of a pickle... The last Southern Softies Meet went quite well for a 1st attempt and it's time to have another go. Here's the dilemma, I'm planning to attend the next Essex meet on the 19th, as are some other softies. Anybody have any ideas for an alternative date/location?
I should add, I'm meeting little heard-of member "Vinto" on saturday afternoon if anybody wants to join us? All are welcome :)
Over to you...

Judge had an idea of meeting in portsmouth, quite easy for everybody to get to, plus there's loads of great spots to get some nice pics of the cars (especially on top of the south downs over looking harbour and spinnaker tower) and some places to eat as well quite cheaply.

Post 458213 by y2blade on 2012-02-02 14:53:16
what date do YOU have in mind?
Post 458217 by M-R-P on 2012-02-02 15:20:10
11th, 12th, 25th?
I'm getting the feeling I may have to miss something, somewhere, may be the Essex meet as I've pulled a few favors with Mrs.MRP to get the car for the HLM RR day in March.
Post 458230 by dalhousie2008 on 2012-02-02 16:08:47
I can do any weekend except this, you lot know when the essex one is so it can't be that one, even if i have the kids i can make it as i live on dog hill (near enough).

Luton is a bit of a trek, what about Portsmouth, then guildford then bournemouth, so we can car share. Luton is as far as Essex near enough, I go to Dunstable every 6 weeks or so

Haha, just read Wobbly's birthday thread. Looked like a right giggle. Shame I can't make more meets and events, not easy having only the one car and a 3 year old :(

Well I didn't take any photos, but it was an excellent location for a meet(even if it was three blokes at a place known as dogging hill)..
The pub looked like it did some half decent food... Cheers guys, see you for a shandy next month!

Hells bells! we had shandys too! I think we're just reinforcing the stereotype!
