Hi all i used to be on here years ago but its been that long with new email accounts etc I've had to get a new account.
Old volvos are 850 t5, s70 t5 and up until 2 years ago a s60 d5.
And now on the look out for another one as the wife's insignia is doing my head in, either another d5 or a t5 or a s40 t5

Ooooooooooh that looks very nice. But for a 2005 with 100k+ on it, i think its over priced.
Have you looked on here for advice on what issues to look out for on these cars?

That's what I thought, had a s60 d5 on a o5 plate my father inlaw has it now and never had any issues with it and it's covered 133000 mile. What main issues do i need to look out for on the r versions, thanks martin

Theres a few more issues with these regarding the awd system, etc. There are a couple of threads lately with some good info on and, more importantly, plenty of experience and advice from actual owners.
they take a bit more looking after than the normal s60's but they are a bit more special too.
try using the search feature for "s60r advice", that should bring up some recent threads on the subject.

Had a look about, quiet a lot of issues with them so is it best to find one that's had most issues sorted. Or buy one off a member ( any for sale ) or maybe just a t5. Will keep looking in no rush.
