Hello everyone. I'm new to the vpc site, but I was wondering if any one would like a meet in yorkshire. Around doncaster would be good as its next to the M18 so easy to get to. Would any one be interested in a meet up and when would people like to do it? In a months time maybe so people can have time to make arrangements. Let's get a good turn out folks and make it a meet to remember!

Let's get a good turn out folks and make it a meet to remember![/quote] hello mate and welcome to the forum ,the is a big meet at york raceway on the 3/6/12 witch is very good crack and normally a good turnout too if you are interested and you will meet alot of forum members there and it would be nice to meet you too and to show us what your car can do if you fancy having a go at the drag racing.

I was just thinking of having a yorkshire one as it would be good for a get together if people was interested. In march or april or something. any one interested?
hi i recently spent all sunday travelling to two meets in Barnsley and Doncaster, no one turned up, and when i expressed my dissapointment, they had the cheek to complain, let then spend 5 hours travelling over 300 miles and £80 for no one local to get out of bed Goodluck with the meet

I've been to loads of meets on here, with some quality folk - numbers are always a bit unpredictable but that's part of the fun :)

Well was thinking around mid march time. Some time round the 10th or the weekend which is around that. Just gives people time to sort their calendar out and make time for abit of fun. When woud he good for you?

Well if people are up for a good meet then shall we set a date and then can let everyone know. Well the 10th of March is a Saturday so shall we say the 10th of march? At Doncaster lakeside shopping centre? That's just off the M18 so should be good for everyone. Shall we say 6pm on Saturday night?

Hi Smithy, i am going to attend the York meet any way but was just trying to get a meet going for before this event so i can meet a few people before it comes to the York race day. I might be interested in camping when i get my act together and figure out what i will be doing. Well is everyone who is going to the meet happy with the date and time of meet?

The meet is at 6pm on the 10th march at the Lakeside Doncaster just off the M18. Easy to find if you fancy it. Looks like a good turn out!!!

4pm at the pub car park sounds good, can have a good look at the motors, and will be some space in the pub for a drink and a chat.
4pm is cool, if car parks are full then my work car park is just round the corner and will be empty but no access to building at weekends just in case because if football is on it will be packed all round that area

Was good to see some nice looking motors out. Was a good time. And I regret to say I am naturally quiet :).

how strange... we got in about 8 with a pizza after a good run out, due to the fact the m18 was shut and i just went on a random drive.. would still be out now if kids didn't need that thing called food lol

Looks a good turn out, would have loved to be there but we're so busy rebuilding our house. My dad was there in his d5 and said was a good turn out.

sorry missed this but had to take advantage of the good weather to get as much done on race car as poss , will keep eye out for next meet up , looking at pics mine needs a dam good clean compared to some off these lovely cars
