After spending my 30th in hospital waiting surgery on a hernia op and after the last two weeks of strict no driving allowed today i was allowed and felt upto being back behind the wheel. Hurray - no more cabin fever !!! However, the car has been sat on the drive for the last 2 weeks and hasn't moved an inch, started up first time (result)!! BUT there's an odd groaning noise everytime i turn the steering. After about 20 mins it went away but turnig back on to my cul-de-sac and driveway, i was on full lock and the noise is back. Is it just a case of all the fluids sitting dormant for a couple of weeks or is it something to worry about ??
