Comparitively cheap track day - http://www.trackaction-online.co.uk/zencart/index.php?main_page=product_free_shipping_info&cPath=1_7&products_id=14&zenid=0817b75845a1e0c91232242bda0cf07f Oulton Park is a great circuit & includes the infamous double apex right hander "Druids corner" It's 130 pounds but if 5 book under the same group then 1 goes free. I would suggest that the proceeds could be shared out making it 104 quid each? Other good news is Oulton is reasonably easy to get to. It's just a hop, skip & a jump from the M6 (Jnc 18) in Cheshire (about 15 minues IIRC) near Winsford/Nantwich. I know it's some way off yet - but it is on a FRIDAY - so you will need to book/skive time off work - and I find the more notice given for these events, the better attended they are (in theory). Best bit about this particular web site/organiser is the instructors are free! You too can get instructions from Stuart? Anyone coming from further afield is welcome to stop at mine in Shropshire - it's about an hour to drive there from Wobbly Towers.

whats with the winter track days dave? and weekdays are never going to seem attractive

Post 474540 by JT on 2012-03-16 17:47:06

winter trackdays are cheaper, for obvious reasons during the summer, most races are at weekends, therefore only leaving the weekdays for the trackdays I might be up for this, its a fantastic circuit!! I haven't looked but maybe a day at bedford as last time I checked they dont race there, only trackdays????

I'll be up for Bedford. The only issue is that these other circuits seem to be rather expensive. Weekdays like Johnny said are primarily due to the circuits being used for races at the weekends. I will look for a Bedford gig. In the meantime - Frankie can look for a silencer ;)
