So, am taking advantage of this fine weather and starting the ICE install on my P1 V70.
To anyone that has stripped the trim out of a P1 V70, is it practical to route the signal and speaker leads up the inside of the A pillar and along the roof line to the back of the car?
I am thinking this rather than under the carpet. I'll be running 3 pairs of speaker wires down one side and 3 pairs of signal cables down the other to keep them apart. Amp power is yet to be decided but I may run it under the car (safely protected and secure of course!).

Self-adhesive foam to prevent rattling, other than that, cant see why not.
I hear diamond audio speakers sound good in these...;)

I have some funky little square stick backed things that you tie a cable tie into to hold the cables in place so hopefully, avoid rattles.
Martin, have you tried the box out? I am travelling tomorrow to Montreal, back Thursday and will be home a while so I'll touch base re the pick up!

In my 850 I routed there is a plastic trunking that runs down the car (I used the passenger side) I'm guessing the V70 might be similar. I routed the cabling for my amp in the boot down it. The power cable I ran straight from the battery down the trunking, was a bit fiddly though.
