Post 481175 by T5frankie on 2012-04-03 21:34:03

prefer the black ones myself

I think it looks really well, modernises the front end and personally I preffer teh crystals over the black units as they look more "standard" and not out of place. Infact the car has a very tidy looking front end for its age.

I don't really like the chrome ones but these actually suit your car's colour very well indeed!

Very nice........

Like the look of those - suit the car without looking like aftermarket. I think black ones would be too much.

Look great. Are the lenses plastic or glass? I always thought if the lenses were plastic, the wipers would end up scouring the surface.....I suppose as long as the blades are in good nick it shouldn't do.

Post 519706 by Rhys on 2012-07-02 16:30:10

Out of interest is there anyone who has pics of a black *70 with black projectors?
same as!! does anyones headlight wipers work as they should??? :shifty:
And mine, just replaced the rubbers, bought some cheap wiper blades from the 99p shop took the rubbers out and cut them to length and fitted a treat. Lovely car Frankie, I'm liking the headlight spoilers I've got them on my BMW Z3 and got a bit of stick when I fitted them! I'd love black projectors on my silver car but they are a lot of money and given the choice for that money I'd have later cristals.
Just a quick pic with the new projector lights fitted, reflectors had gone in the old lights. What does everyone think ? Image
that looks spot on,thats one clean car :B_thumb: How does illumination compare to standard ones at night? I fancy a paid of dark ones for my RS project, on the hunt for a sportier grill first thought....got some ideas brewing

Post 519883 by V70 Graham on 2012-07-02 22:04:30
How does illumination compare to standard ones at night?
Illumination is about 200% better than the old units with worn reflectors, glad I bought them.
