This one??? http://www.vpcuk.org/forums/showthread.php?t=43605 In my opinion it's a good thread mate, honest comments and every company/story has 2 sides, happy days :)

I'm not removing it because of a negative comment, the owner was kind enough to ring me and sort out the situation amicably. I feel it only right that because he has done that I no longer wish the thread to be visible.

I think it is balanced and you've said you've sorted your differences. I can get the thread title changed if you'd like?

Why won't it let me edit the first box where I made the initial thread? I can edit text in all the replies I made but not the first comments?

Don't mess with it mate. It's fine as it is. You were pee'd off, all sorted now. What started out as a complaint against a company, ended up showing them to be quite amicable and professional. No need to change anything in my opinion! People need to be more open about negative experiences.

Things go wrong sometimes, the difference between good and bad companies is how the sort these problems. I'm glad your sorted Sharkey.

Is it possible to remove a thread completely, I know it's informative but to be fair to E-Parts theyve sorted it but if you search google for Eibach or EPARTS one of the results is this thread which is a bit unfair on them now it's sorted.

Leave the thread, warts 'n all........seriously, Sharkey - I know your intentions are well but you started a thread expressing your concerns with a company that gave poor customer service. Many people including myself, thanked you for the heads-up. The thread then perhaps came to the attention of those in the company and an amicable solution was found. Everyone concerned is happy.....the company eventually conducted themselves in a professional manner & that is shown in that thread. Steve

Sharkey would not know if any body at the company concerned had seen the thread. Which in my opinion, was a well meant heads up to others "re:- poor service" and quite just. If the company had seen it or had became aware of it, it may explain the quick amicable solution or just that Sharkey was lucky enough to speak to the right person on the phone this time. Either way it is a true account of a customers experiences with a trader and I am glad he brought this to are attenion so we can all be aware, then we can then either use them or not, knowing fully that they will sort things out in the end.....which he has made everybody aware of, a fully balanced thread. :Handshake
