Ill be there and so will D5 Sophie(gf)
I'm working.....sorry
Mrs PA wants to take the motorcaravan some where and sit in a field for the weekend and relax. http://www.bedouin-trails.co.uk/ We are trying to get away a bit more this year :)
Southern BKV? tell me more please :)
Rachel and I will be there. :)
VOC southern meet and Best Kept Volvo competition. It's at Atwell Wilson Motor Museum, Stockley Lane, Calne, Wiltshire, SN11 0NF. I believe it's £4 each to get in which give you access to the museum as well as the show. Last year was at Popham Airfield and was a pretty respectable turnout.

I've never heard of it before. Thanks I may well pop along, really enjoyed yesterdays meet-up :)
The Volvo Owners Club do an annual northern and southern BKV each year and also a National one too. Anyone's welcome to go but if you want to enter your car in the BKV competition you need to be a VOC member. You get trophies for each class of car for both first place and runner up. Mine was the only S60 at last years Southern so would be good to get a few more lined up.

I'll be there if I can, I assume it is on VOC forum too...I'll have a look :) I'm not "entering" the Competition though lol Edit: the thread on VOC is here http://www.volvoforums.org.uk/showthread.php?t=152243
Yeah it's on the VOC forum too. You might as well enter it, I thought that last year when I turned up and they persuaded me to enter and as it happens no other S60s turned up so I got a First place trophy by default. It's only a bit of fun. It's not as anal as a lot of show competitions.
Oh while I think of it, what's the name of the wheels on yours, Sophie asked me to ask you?

Cheers mate. If you do wanna go Sunday let us know and we can meet you on route. Sophie's taking her D5 and Stribo's following us down as well.
Will do.....It looks a nice run across from me...I'd probably go A4 :) I'll have a better idea if I'll be able to make it later in the week. Thanks
I'm up north that day!!
Unfortunately, my recent galavantings and expendatures regarding the car have ultimately brought me to "no spending" portion of the year. At least till I get a few car related things sorted and stabilise the bank balance ;) Maybe next time peeps :)
I will know one way of the other tonight weather I'll be able to make it to this one... .....fingers crossed as I really enjoyed last weeks meet.
Hi Y2BLADE, you you go as you can take some photos of my old Volvo, the photo you took of my Saab on sunday was very good. Julian

Julian[/quote] Trust me, if I am able to go I'll be taking a ton of pics. I have a lot on at home (and in the workshop) this weekend, depending on how much I get done tomorrow will open me up to free time Sunday.
Looks like we will be meeting at McDonald's at Newbury retail park around 8.45am and then heading to Calne via the A4. If anyone else is heading to the BKV from the east let us know.
If I can get across it will be nearer lunchtime. :(
Tut! That's not good enough. Lol okey dokey mate hopefully see ya there.
.....remember the pictures :D
