Well the other two jacks ive got are getting quite worn out so while on a trip to costco today i noticed these 3tonne low/quick lift jacks that are built like a tank and at just over £70 i couldnt get over it im well impressed as the other jacks i was looking at were knocking up £300. Also the reviews on these are brilliant so if your on the look out deffinatly have a look at these. Image

I just hope it holds up. I've had my 2 tonne jack for 13 years - still works well but the lift is not that high. Always wanted one with a higher throw.

It'll be great so long as its not sealey... I cannot discourage the use of sealey jacks enough. (Full story/rant on request).

Think my trolly jack is a halfrauds special, had it for years. It managed to lift up the rear end of out fully laden transit van the other day to change a wheel so no probs with the Volvo lol

3tonne for £70, bargain. I fell lucky & got an old 5tonne free off a retiring forklift engineer Image

Costco to the rescue! Pete these jacks are spot on and a few garages have them including the alloy ones.
you don't rate sealey tools?
No... I have used many sealey tools now and found them sub-standard compared to inferior brands in terms of use-ability and quality. The top of the range trolley jacks for instance lower too quickly and the low slung jacks need alot of travel on the handle to allow them to operate. Im afraid its Blue-Point for me... expensive but works brilliant. Image
