I am having a problem with the site in that every time I come back to it, it does'nt "remember" me despite having ticked the correct box. This has only happened within the last two days and I wondered if it was in any way connected with the new legislation about "cookies"
Shouldn't think so. Have you stopped your browser from excepting cookies? As far as I know the forum doesn't keep any information about us unlike online shops. As a shop we have to comply to the new legislation but it's not the same for a forum. What browser are you using?
I haven't knowingly switched off my cookies and I am using Internet Explorer 8. What do you think I could try next?
Have you remembered to click on 'save' after you have ticked the box ??
For the last 24 hours everything seems to be behaving itself! I have a sneaking suspicion I did something different the last time. Thanks for all the help!
I find if I go to vpcuk.org it doesn't log me in, but if I go to www.vpcuk.org then it does.
