Hi guys There is a Volvo stand at the hillingdon auto show There is 8-9 spaces left It is only £5 per car which is cheaper than the entry fee Please let me know if your interested and if any has any Volvo signs or banners they are willing to give or lend for the day to make the stand look the part There is a limited number of spaces If there are more cars willing to come I may be able to up the ground space required I'll have to know ASAP

Hi guys thanks for the interest The hillingdon auto show on 15th July It is a big car show full of every make so I just thought as a Volvo enthusiast to people would like to use it as a get together so I booked a plot for ten cars I have two which leaves 8 spots so first come first served How ever if enough interest I may be able to get more spaces
I should have my clutch sorted by then...
I'm provisionally in, providing i don't scrap the bloody car by then. any other southern softies wanna join me?
I suppose it would be rude not to, but it might be car dependent and I'm on holiday that weekend. Plus I could be VW by then...(I don't want to mess up the display)..

Ok guy I now have a total of 15 tickets paid for I have just done this so bare with me while I wait for a response One car entry allows 2 people entry to the show that is obviously 1x driver + 1 other children under 14 go free I'll have to meet up with you on the day to give you your vehicle pass otherwise you will be charged £10 on the day, your ticket via me is £5 which is a charity donation 4 spaces are already allocated
i'm coming but will have to txt sunday as i will be out all day tomorrow and will not have phone with me...........will try to get wife to do it

I could do some big-ass poster thingys for windscreens... (A3 size) no need for insurance for a giant window sticker...

Hi Martinrpeachy Im just trying to make the stand look good for everyone After all I'm doing it all by my self ive been offered no help. But having said that origanly it was just me entering, so now I'm doing it for EVERYBODY now
Hi V8, It's almost always the case that things like bunting, banners tents etc. have to be insured by those displaying them and proof of insurance must be given before attempting to erect them. Nobody's looking to you do cover everything, we just wouldn't want to see somebody put themselves out, setting up banners etc. only to see them taken straight down. I'm more than happy to print off some personalised window posters for anybody who wants one (or two, there's room for a few in a Volvo windscreen lol). With the quality of cars that will be attending, I'm sure there'll be plenty of interest from the public. Martin.
Hi V8, As Martin said I doubt anyone here is looking for you to cover everything but because you have organised this the organisers will be looking to you if someone were to be stupid enough to hang themselves with the bunting or impale themselves on a banner. Getting insurance can also be a bit of a ball ache. (Speaking from experience, if you have a "club" with 6000+ registered members and you offer free membership you end up insuring per event if you can find someone to cover you). Martins idea does have merit, it will show banners (Volvos at Hillingdon or whatever will be shown) but they will be placed inside a car ensuring no member of the public gets a paper cut or whatever might happen. (I'm sure anyone attending from this site wouldn't be trying to claim compensation if they walked into the banner accidently.........they would be laughed at and that would be the end of it but when you have unknown members of the public you don't know whats going to happen).
