As some of you may know I'm currently knocking about in a BMW that a friend lent me, I had an idea that the car had been a previous write off as he does buy and sell them all the time. This fact didn't really bother me until today, I got an email off my current insurers telling me that not only is the car a write off but it's also a CAT B!, how the hell this thing is even on the road I have no idea. From a legal standpoint it is not even possible for a member of the public to buy a CAT B, only licenced dismantlers are allowed to buy them and then they can only be sold for parts. As a result of this they've given me a weeks notice that they're canceling my insurance, pretty nice of them really as the fekkin car shouldn't really be on the road at all, presonally I wont be driving it again (apart from to return it to my so called friends house).
My so called friend is away until wednesday so I can't even clarify this with him, it's possible that it's just got the wrong category on it but if it has and he knew it was listed as a B then why let me use it?, he'd have known that as a B if I had any sort of accident in it the insurance would instantly become invalid...landing me with god knows how many thousands of pounds in repairs and or damages...
Some friend eh?.
Back to foot power again then...

Wow, that is quite bad as it must have been pretty bad to get the B category?!
Walking is going to be safer lol

Walking on the central reservation, on the M25 may very well be safer!
Hopfully, it's a genuine mistake somewhere and it's not as bad as the insurers say.
I remember my mum having plod knock on her door, in the early ninetys, asking why her mini was parked, with no tax, outside a hospital. It took nearly an hour for them to believe the car had been scrapped 2 months prior.
Some people are dumb enough to try things like that, although, ignorance is no substitute for innosence.

You can say that again, also heard today that I have to have an eye operation, now on the waiting list and it'll be the second op on this eye and my third eye operation.
If I didn't have ยงยงยงยง luck I'd have no luck at all.

There's already a fair few old squinters here in Knott End, the more the merrier - just avoid the dodgy neighbours from Morecambe ;)

Find out what's going on before you burn him!
Although it does sound quite dodgy, and not what a friend would do.

Probably,lol.
Monkey I'm going to be polite and ask nicely first of course. Could get messy though if he admits he knew all along.

What indicators? everyone knows they are an optional extra along with door magnets (to pull you into the fast lane) Did I say that?? lol
