Hi, wondering if anyone can help with my 2.4d 08 S80? Posted this in technical and here also. The MIL indicator is on and the car has a severe lack of power, which makes it almost undriveable. I had it scanned with a code reader and it shows P0409 exhaust gas recirculation sensor A circuit. Does this mean that I am looking at replacing the EGR valve on the car? Does anyone have similar experiences with this model?? Thanks for any help.
Did you clear the code, and did it come straight back?
Hi, the code cleared,but came back after another couple of starts. Volvo haven't been much help, except for to say they have sold "quite a few" egr valves, but as these are pretty expensive I don't want to just buy one and it may not fix it! Thanks.

Thanks for any help.[/QUOTE] I had a sim prob with my 09 S80 2.4D Lost power, took it to a volvo dealer it was the turbo control unit :( but was done under warranty :)
