I am disappointed with the lack of attempts and the misses! However I don't think Italy have played all that brilliantly either.
England's defensive performance has been solid enough but we seem to be struggling to keep the possesion long enough for it to be meaningful
Even the commentator is getting miffed with the lack of teamwork
TBH I think whoever wins this will be taken apart by Germany.

After much yelling, swearing and general sofa coaching of our lame arsed team, I will admit to sitting here and having a cry and then being relieved I ain't gotta watch any more footie for a bit!

Unfortunately it was the wrong manager.
I don't think the manager was the wrong choice! Certainly better than other names that were bandied about! He got them this far, he couldn't do any more other than stand in the goal with Hart maybe?!

Considering the time that Roy had to sort the England squad out, you have to give him credit where it is due. Very difficult for a manager to come in at such a late stage. We have WC qualifiers soon so he now has more time to sort the squad out. As for Rooney, I think it would have been better getting him on the last 20 mins of the 2nd half when the other side are tiring. He may have kept up there. Passing in the Italians half was terrible however our defense, I reckon, was excellent. Still room for improvement there but we need a massive improvment up front. Maybe its time to do away with the old players (keeping Gerrard though) and start with a fresh team.
