As seen on our local news making Santa chuckle somewhat. LINK

my old man just showed me that clip, i'm guessing he wasn't wearing his seat belt lol
Pretty dodgy belt if he was lol
Me thinks no belt either.....ouch !
wonder if he could do it again.....
Although it was an accident, the way he came out of the sunroof did make me laugh somewhat lol Very lucky boy though!
Especially if the car decided on another roll
It was a Pug 407, he probably had his seatbelt on and was lucky the seat didn't come with him lol
Lucky man. These guys wern`t that lucky tho [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lnsU9YSpSnE&feature=share[/ame]
That was nasty, armless but nasty (you see what I did there?).
he doesn't have a clue how lucky he was. my friend died after he wasn't wearing his belt and his nova rolled lightly on the way home from college but his head came out through the sunroof. everybody else walked away and he was only 18. volvo put those annoying little red flashing seat belt lights there for a reason ..........
he doesn't have a clue how lucky he was. volvo put those annoying little red flashing seat belt lights there for a reason ..........
Never a truer word spoken. I went through a phase when younger of not wearing my seatbelt - absolute stupidity on my part.
New S40 starts off with quiet beeps, then slightly louder beeps - then full blow claxons (& turns the radio down). Having seen the accidents & read the comments - I am quite glad of it - as sometimes I can get to the end of the road before putting mine on - which is a bit naughty.
Yet another legacy left by plod on my car - no seatbelt warning apart from the driver. The other passengers don't even get a red light. I just hope the srs system knows when there's a bum on a seat. Something I can't understand is not wearing a seatbelt. There's really no excuse - sit in seat, close door, seatbelt on etc etc. We all (well most of us any way) wipe our bum before pulling our pants back up or lock the bloody house when you leave, yet when your own life depends on it, some people won't do something that takes 2 seconds. An old friend of mine was in a 40 mph crash and didn't have a seatbelt on. He was thrown through the door of the car and through a barbed wire fence. He had 118" of stitching, skin grafts and years of physio. Now he really doesn't like getting the passenger seat with anybody. There's really no excuse, really.
The second video gives a new meaning to hitting the Armco!

Makes me think.....the Buses we have dont have seat belts, even limited to 39mph I wouldn't fancy a major whack :(

I wore mine even as a cab driver unless I pick up 4 drunken idiots just in case I don`t get stuck or strangled from behind and can jump out to give them a good lesson.
