O.K., maybe it's the fact we've had a great day out, or the sun's got to me (probably not, not alot of sun today) or maybe even the couple of cans of Fosters I've drunk, but I'd like to say a big thank you to Rich and Nat (Santa and Pin-up Gal). If it wasn't for them the forum wouldn't be as it is now, or maybe not even exist at all. Now I know that members make a forum, and all the members I've met are good people, but Rich and Nat take a lot of crap for various reasons (some maybe even deserved :P ) ,but don't seem to get a lot of credit for the good things that happen on this forum/club. I think today has been a testament to how good this club is, with 2 meets, which have brought like minded people together for some good food, good banter, and a great time, oh and some nice looking Volvos as well. So before the next round of forum owner bashing commences, I'd like to say thanks to Rich and Nat, for all you do. :D Right back to the Fosters before I send Martin a PM saying "I love you man" :lol:

Aww Thanks Stribo, them beers worked then ;) The team do a grand job in holding the fort and without them we wouldn't be here either :) Group VPCUK hug awwwww We like all feedback from our members but particularly this kind ;) We have some amazing members on here today was just one of those days that showed it! Just going to MOVE this now to the correct forum ;) I'm feeling all soft n soppy now lol

Its like at work when staff thinks the supervisor is an @ss not realising he`s doing his job and if he`s messing around like others than what is it ganna b?Also they don`t know how much he could b backing them up.I`ve been there and I know and similar on here too.Never had any probs but a kind pm from Santa asking my approval on something I`m not gonna tell and giving a good advise.Thanx Santa and the team and to u Stribo for this thread(even tho u have a ginger interior which I like lol)

I would like to echo the statements above.... Just the right amount of Volvo "train spotting" geekiness coupled with a small amount of technical knowledge.... all thrown together with a lot of stupidness VPC .... If Carlsberg made forums.... it would be VPC !!!

I think you have hit the nail on the head stribo, people are all too quick to mod/admin/owner bash but are slow to show their appreciation etc, as I have said before Annemarie and I have not only enjoyed modding/fixing/showing our car (which is looking well if I do say so myself :redface:) but we have also met some very genuine people who we are proud to say have become good friends. Thank you Rich and Nat for all you do for all the members, VPC is a great place to be, keep up the good work. :B_thumb:

to be fair,i was going to leave this forum due to one idiot who got to me a bit...i was talked out of it(yes...you again,mr peachey..lol) and im glad to say,im still here.. i pm'd santa as apparently rumours were rife why i was b*******g off, and found a genuine friendly response,after reading others who have gone "off on one",maybe communication was an issue...in more ways than one!! as i was convinced....the good people far outweigh the bell ends...:smileypul oh,and stribo,i did have a good nose at your interior....just gotta convince the wife my s60 is knackered somehow,and i need an "R" in my life with THAT interior!!!

At the end of the day we're all here for the big Volvo LOL, which we all have here, with people around the country that, we have met or not met, but will meet in this excellent forum community which is developing here. Hats of to Rich and Nat who are clocking up some fare miles attending area meets in all the far flung areas that we get together..and again keep up the great work you and the team at VPCUK :bud:
