before this thread goes anywhere I must add I am VERY aware that you get what you pay for, and this is highly likely too good to be true - but still, £119!!!!!!

I have the 2010/2011 version... (ignore the brand, they're all made by the same company)
The navigation is very good, and you can install an ipod lead in the glovebox (that's where I put mine)
I put the GPS antenna behind the speedo.
DVD is very good, but you have to remember to turn the volume down after it finishes or you'll get a nasty surprise.
The radio is ok providing you have a good signal.
The bluetooth has a slight background hiss but works well for calls etc.
And the overall sound quality isn't great but would be fine through amps and a sub.

i'm currently replacing a Xtron motorised unit which has finally gave up after several years use, cost £100 new so really can't complain. If i hadn't of fell across a cheap second-hand Kenwood i'd be looking at something like that. I'll actually miss quite alot of the features of the cheaper unit because i've got used to the touch screen now

The revamped version is on the site you linked above for 97 quid. Very good for the money.

I have one in my 850r the sat nav works well and other features are good, the bluetooth connects to the phone etc, the sound isnt a match for the volvo equipment but mainly because i have not gone throu the amp, but for the price its great value for money...

i wasn't really fussed about it being flip-up, but having the full screen & still having a handy pocket underneath was a bonus. Only down side is it blocked 2 of the vents off

well, i was speaking with the company directly over IM via their B2B website.
They're perfectly happy to sell you units for personal use - they don't seem to care :)
Have been quoted £167 inc delivery for the new G2227E unit
