Hey all im new to vpcuk, i live in the north east in england and i am 24, i have just decided to invest in my first ever volvo. I have just bought a volvo v40 1997 1.8l 16v. I would love to make this car into a beautiful masterpiece so if your into modifying and tuning cars please could you post suggestions on were to begin and how you would do it as i love other peoples ideas to inspire mine.

Thanks all for making me feel welcome, i am working on getting some pics uploaded just rushed with work at the mo so will get on it asap. Thanks for the info about the evo parts i will look into that, i take it the engine must be a mitsubishi one then?

Welcome to VPCUK. If you want advice on modifications and tuning then there is a lot of people here who can help, although I have to say I'm more of a 'keep in original' man myself with the odd exception of course. Looking forward to seeing you develop your V40. Good luck with it! Regards James
