Both my 850's rear brake calipers have seized and I can not shift them at all, does any body out there, not to far from Welshpool have a pair that they could sell me reasonably cheap, desperate for them as I trying to get the car mot'd for Trax :help:
Thats bad news if you carnt get hold of some you could strip them down and push the pots out then clean them with wire wool obviously if water has been getting in there, there will be pitting on the pot but should free them up for the time being
Are you positive it's not the handbrake being stuck ? They are inside the rotor drum and the brake shoes are proned to sticking

It's a pain in the neck isn't it! The RAC man took the caliper apart, used about half a bottle of penetrating fluid and eventually managed to shift it. Then he used some emery paper, cleaned up the metal rods, a few sprays of grease and then put it back together. Looked like a right fiddle though... Regards James
