Post 535682 by Harvey on 2012-09-08 18:53:39

Thanks for reply .i was looking at a TME system rear only I know they sound great at WOT ,I see you have not removed the bracket just rear of the front box ( not the cat) as these get damaged very easy and bent in to prop shaft. Also they are type approved as well did this make any difference to your choice ?.

Yes I know I need a TME exhaust but the one on the car is going to start leaking next feb/march near my birthday nice present to me. I then can say its type approved to the insurance company as well. I do Like the video as well thanks for posting it ,do you still have the stock downpipe still on the car.

:welcome: Phillippe to probably the best Volvo forum for a friendly atmosphere!! Love the car mate!! I too have a black R with Atacama interior. I like video you did of your TME, they are nice systems but way to expensive for us to ship to UK. TBH i don't think there that different to BSR's system i used to have but i now have a custom system which, IMH, is alot better. In one of your pictures, it looks like you have brushed aluminium wing mirrors? If so, are they from a P3 and were they easy to fit? Lee.

thnx for the welcomes toda I went to re-aligne the car & we measured the lowering...it's 5cm(2") higher then the Elevate springs & 1,5>2cm lower than the standard lowered R suspension after seeing LeeT5's V70R, I rather change to Eibach also, (emailed yesterday to the shop where Lee bought his set, but didn't receive an answer yet...) or I buy a Eibach set for the S60 use the front springs & in the rear they can be pressed(not my first thought, but if the Eibach set for a V70R isn't available anymore , it's the only solution...

today ,I went to see a 2004 manual Flash green V70R with Atacama & sunroof not for myself but for a good friend, I inspected the car, called the dealer that did the maintenance on this one(my old dealer, when I lived in that area) & called my friend & he bought the car, now we are 3: my V70R, my best friends S60R en his V70R Monday he will collect the car Image Image Image car was from a female doctor, no expenses were too much: she even renewed the leather driverseatcover last october, the car has 185000km(+/-115.000miles) but went every 5000km(3500miles) for an oil change @ the same dealership now I can start the search to another Eibach set for the V70R....;:worried: the car will also receive 19" wheels & some upgrades (he also owns a 850R break)
