you should put a layer of sealant on it now - to preserve your finish & stop contaminents sticking to it Poor boys black hole would be good... http://compare.ebay.co.uk/like/110845271555?var=lv<yp=AllFixedPriceItemTypes&var=sbar&adtype=pla

Autoglym ultimate gloss sealer (white bottle gold badge) is pretty good and available at most auto factors.

T-cut is a cutting polish. It leaves nothing behind. Like any cutting polish (either done by hand or by machine) - any wax protection is removed. It would be a real shame having put all that effort in, to have it spoilt by rain, atmospheric & road contaminents. There are many sealants available. Check out www.cleanyourcar.co.uk & www.polishedbliss.com AG UGP as Mr Peachey is ok, I cannot speak of its longevity. Many sealants have an AIO (all in one) aspect as they also contain carnuba. I also rate chemical guys. Their WMF (wet mirror finish) is a very good AIO sealant.
