Iirc, 4mm for the recirc and 5mm for everything else. You can get away with 4mm all round if you like.
This may be a silly question, but are the vac line 5mm inside diameter or outside? About to replace all vac lines with silicone and looking for the correct dimensions to buy. Don't want to end up with metres of useless tube. Thanks, Jim.
Internal diameter mate. When you order "5mm" it'll be 6mm internal. (usually a little less - 4.8mm) Don't forget to buy some 4mm for the recirc pipe.

Oops - typo - 5mm mate. Having a bad day, sorry. Ask for 5mm and you'll get 5mm internal diameter. I need a beer lol.

The car came with a Bailey's DV so I've just bought a Forge blanking plate to go with that, so won't be need tube for it :D

Replace that to keep it all matching. Beware the cheap EvilBay hoses too - some collapse under vacuum or stretch and pop-off under pressure. I got mine (all 6mm) from HypHose, a hydraulic and conveyance piping company. I paid £11 for 4M of the stuff and it's pressure tested to +/- 35psi.
Good call! I'm not too big a fan of the luminous colours - eg. Samco/Bailey blue so black was my choice to contrast the white body. I might just give them a go, as that's very reasonable pricing and some durable sounding stuff. Appreciate the input!!
They do most colours, incl. black. :beer:
Woo hoo, was getting worried there - they only have blue on the site :bounce: Order placed, 4m of 6mm and 2m of 4mm should cover it, plus some as spares. calling me back tomorrow to confirm :D
My mechanic replaced all of my vac lines with 5mm rubber fuel lines. Some proper heavy duty stuff. And u can get that from ur car spares shop

I ain't too sure on the exact size. All I know it was changed and what a difference it made

you can use 6mm and wrap tape round the ports or use 4mm all round. Fuel line is very popular for vac/boost pipes as it's hard as nails. Ugly tho.

That's a nice touch, you might have convinced me to go blue, as I'll endeavour to get myself an ipd or bsr intake kit; also blue ;)
- Shame your top mount didn't come in their purpley/blue, too
I might just bite the bullet and go for 4mm i/d all round, as long as it won't cause any issues, which i'm sure it wont, just being cautious.
I know a few people who have gone 4mm all through. No problems reported.
