Its a really nice car mate and it looks really classy in silver.
The best thing about big V8s is that you can go quickly without stressing the engine. Its surprising how quick my car goes without going past 3000rpm and i bet yours is the same, but even quicker.

Once again, love the interior.Do u have a dual exit exhausts for this as that would make it look nicer.

How many silencers does it have. I was going to get the middle one removed from my 540 for a bit more noise.

the merc boys do a decat pipe with a y piece so leaves the silencer at the back, but sounds awesome when put your toe down, dunno whether i should as i like the quiet too

Same issue with me, its nice having a quiet engine, can barely hear it when cruising. Keep changing my mind, one day i want more noise, then i go on a long journey and don't want to spoil it.

I'm not a fan of the saloon versions looks, just don't like the rear. But think they are really nice as an estate.

Very nice I was looking at these sometime ago before buying an xjr v8 and never got round to test driving one only fuel economy put me off, lovely motors I went in a friends dads e63 Amg and it made the jag feel slow! I say go down to dartford tunnel late at night put the windows down and hold 2nd or engage kick down for best sound effects!

I turned 38 two months back so you can §§§§§§ off with the getting old. Only as old as the woman you feel, apparently. lol
Post 547623 by foammanmark on 2012-11-14 18:25:15
It's a very, very smart motor indeed. As I've said before, I could fit so much foam in the back of that, it would be brilliant. Hope she goes really well for you, show off!

Sorry to bump an old thread, do you still have this car Frankie?
What year is/was it?
Edit: I'm drawn towards a W124 or W210 AMG wagon..need to read up on them a bit and ask some stupid questions.

I thought he still had a few of his cars? I can't keep track tbh. lol
Post 642610 by V70 Graham on 2013-09-09 11:51:24
Our Frankie changes his cars more often than his underwear.
Post 642611 by y2blade on 2013-09-09 11:54:00
Hmmmmmmm I think I'll forget about them tbh.
I do love my S4 but was really taken with the old AMGs I saw at Trax yesterday so just thinking out loud tbh.
I think I'm just missing the comfy seats of my Volvos...The S4 seats are like rock for any distance!
Time to look on Ebay for some different seats for it I think.
Post 642615 by T5frankie on 2013-09-09 12:12:52
That mercedes was the nuts mate, battered the s4 in the speed stakes, even the handling is amazing, best brakes of any car i've ever driven, and got 25mpg, I liked it, only problem is rust
Post 642618 by y2blade on 2013-09-09 12:23:44
