Last week, I came home from the Softie's meet with Oblark's brand new 18" peg reps, with instructions to paint them dark matt grey... Here's what happened... Pegs... Image Masked... Image Image Rubbed... Image Primed... Image Base coat... Image Image 2nd. coat... Image Then some high strength acrylic matt clear coat... Image Done... Image Image Image Image He collected them today, and seems pretty pleased - as am I, this is by far my best work yet. The finish, although hard to achieve, looks amazing - almost lazer-etched. Hopefully, they'll be on the car soon and rob will be posting pictures for us all to drool over lol :) A before picture... Image (Rob, you gotta do the after pic lol) And a quick video of his new de-cat setup...

Wow, she looks stunning mate. If any body wants a more detailed how-to guide, just ask. This finish was dificult to keep consistent and I wouldn't have wanted to attempt it if I'd not done it before. Looks the dogz danglies tho!
or he can do a drive through service
Unfortunately, its a 2 to 3 day job so house calls aren't really practical. However, I will be thinking about doing a few more sets, as it would appear that I'm not too bad at it. And I'm cheap ;)
