Post 562581 by Wobbly Dave on 2013-01-15 00:20:18

Well I really enjoyed myself last year, camping & cooking etc - so I will be up to show everyone all the latest bits on Betsy & hopefully lay down some rubber.

Post 563424 by JT on 2013-01-17 21:08:19

I see Smithy has put his name down for tracktime "x2"???? how many sessions are available????

Post 563429 by Pinup_gal on 2013-01-17 21:23:46

However many track sessions you want to book. :) We aren't doing Club track time this year though.

Post 563430 by Pinup_gal on 2013-01-17 21:24:26

Also guys don't bother putting camping on the list. I've contacted Trax about this as it is not on the club booking form and I've asked why.

Post 563480 by JT on 2013-01-18 06:42:01

I would book 3 if we can space them out???

Post 563490 by Pinup_gal on 2013-01-18 07:33:48
I would book 3 if we can space them out???
Yes when I book them I just have to specify over how many different sessions :) I just don't get a choice in times of sessions.

Post 563491 by Nealevo on 2013-01-18 07:40:10

Can i ask why we are not doing group club track time again?..... (not in an angry or nasty way) it looked so good seeing all the cars together, well apart from that bloody subaru :-)

Post 563500 by Pinup_gal on 2013-01-18 08:25:58
Can i ask why we are not doing group club track time again?..... (not in an angry or nasty way) it looked so good seeing all the cars together, well apart from that bloody subaru :-)
Many reasons Neal :) We bought club track time exclusively for VPC and tickets were sold on to people we didn't know. Which wasn't what we wanted, we wanted an exclusive time of cars/people we knew. There are other reasons too :)

I haven't had the club tickets yet. I spoke to trax the other day, they're nowhere near being posted out :-s Last year it was a combination of posted and meet up for tickets. If you want them posted you pm me your address, if you want to meet up for them we usually arrange somewhere just outside of silverstone. Post 638133 by JUDGENINJA on 2013-08-23 22:28:08

OK so do we have a prospective interest in creating a list for passenger rides? Drivers of course its free to become a passenger, non-drivers can sign on for £10 on the day. I have secured an extra session, so Just add your name against a session if you want a ride: 1- Judgeninja - 2 -Judgeninja - 3 -Judgeninja' s Guest driver (he's pretty handy in a car R32 GTiR owner) - 4 5 6 7 Of course this isnt legally binding so if you aren't around at the time I'll take the nearest half naked honey out for the time of her life!! Bring/borrow a helmet and arms/legs covered.....anyone in 3/4 length trousers will be banned from Silverstone ( OK not quite....but they should be!).

Post 638190 by Pinup_gal on 2013-08-24 08:54:40

If you want a campsite ticket meet ill have to get the tickets to Jim again this year. This doesn't mean meeting you at the chippy mate lol Or Wayne you're not far from me so I could meet up with you with the camping lots tickets ? Remember no Volvo no parking on the stand. No long trousers/tops, helmet and license no track time.

oh and iirc, where the stand is located is on tarmac, so any one thinking of putting up a gazeebo or similar, would need to bring something to weigh it down I'm sure a couple of Volvos would do it:)
How are they going to do the taxi rides with that many cars in the track
suppose that we'll do more laps, as the track is now halved, so more piccy opportunities, going to be a bit crowded out there

Just a thought, we'll be taking a gas ring for boiling a kettle, for tea and coffee, but we could bring a frying pan for cooking bacon, and sausages. Are any of the people camping going to be using a gas cooker? If so, we could bring a couple of pans, along with the kettle, and cater for the group.

Haven't washed mine yet, and it's currently raining, so it's going to be touch and go whether it's done tonight, or when I get there in the morning.

So just to clear it up what time do we need to get on site by ?. 8 to 8.30 ok .

Post 642163 by JUDGENINJA on 2013-09-07 17:29:50

As early as possible. If you're going to try 08:30 you'll already be in a 4mile tail back.

Had a fab day at TRAX, great company as usual and put some new faces to names, sorry if I never chatted to everyone, there was a lot of stunning cars on display as always, and a lot of entertainment on the track, smithy in the NA, JT for blowing up right in front of me, Judge for driving like a demon, stribo for killing his brakes at 100mph and Frankie looking petrified in a jap box. Thanks Nat and Rich for all the organising and hassle that comes with it, but mainly for the cake. Had a little play with the renault sport club on way home. See you all next year

Thanks to all of those that came though :-) Thanks to Churni and Jas for providing photography and video coverage, thanks to Chad for sorting out the Marquee and stuff, thanks to those that relayed tickets and helped set up the stand and thanks to Natalie (Pinup_Gal) who put in about 90-95% of the work over the last 8 months or so and whom without our participation at Trax wouldn't have happened.
