Quotes Direct, just renewed. All mods declared (not many) and was £276 with 8yrs protected ncb and £250 excess. Also includes consideration for a recent SP30 last may. £100 cheaper than Chris Knotts offer of renewal! It pays to shop around!

£508 with Chris Knott, 9 years protected no claims, 15,000 miles per year with mods declared (business, social & domestic use). Even though I live in a good area with limited car thefts, I come under DY postcode which puts up the premium....does anyone have the postcode, liability map which they follow?? I shopped until I was blue in the teeth last year and was having quotes in excess of £1200 for an 'unmodified' R, when I was only paying 4-500 the previous year!! Stupidly enough though, no matter who I get to quote the insurance, they all quote more for my 850 tdi than the V70R.......where the **** is the sense in that?????????? INSURANCE DOES MY HEAD IN :wallbash:
Goodness me thats cheap!
Some folk do get very low premiums, but costs without context (i.e age, marital status, postcode....) are not comparible, in fact insurance is totally non-comparible and non-sensical, would you not agree? I pay £160 for the 740 on 3000miles classic with Footman James

£108 for the T5... 31, 6 points, 1yrs NCB, TPFT, her as a named driver and the car on it's own policy - the diesel is insured on it's own too, similar sitaution but with 9yrs NCB but it's insured for business use and comes in just over £200 with unlimited miles. God knows how, but I'm not complaining.
