In talks with the other organisers and have sorted a date for this years event of 14th July. As we held it in August last year and raised £1400 for the Cancer Centre and all proceeds will be going to the Charity again this year. Looking at gaining interest of who would be interested in showing their car or even just attending. Will post more about as I know and should have booking forms and website sorted in next couple of weeks

Hi charity is Clatterbridge Cancer Centre Charity as that's who we did it for last year and raised a good sum of money. 14th July is definite and been to look at a bigger place today so may have that booked this week as they have more facilities than we have at the hospital site and also will have use of function room for prize giving. Its a good hospital is Clatterbridge, my Dad was in the stroke rehab there before we lost him at Chrimbo. My family are 20 mins from there so I might be up for this if Im not away on holiday.
We had such good success from the event that we held on the hospital grounds last year even if the weather was a bit iffy but still a good turnout and raised just under £1500 for the centre. So me and some of my friends are organising another event that is talking place at Vauxhall Football Sports centre as they have more facilities and we are holding an evening event as have organised a function room and the main show on the Sunday with limited camping on the saturday night and entertainment on saturday night as well and the main show will have some entertainment. Saturday 13th and Sunday 14th July Advance Prices:- £7 for a vehicle pass this includes admission for two adults £3.50 for each additional adult Children under 12 go free. Camping units = £5 (PER TENT/CARAVAN/ CAMPER VAN) If you are not camping the evening wristbands are £5 each which gets you general admission to the show on the Sunday,, If your hardcore enough to get up after the great night we have in store!! Admission on the gate on the day (IF NOT FULLY BOOKED!!!) Getting more cars booked in everyday now so show should be really good and been out at car shows promoting the event.
I'd love to come but as per usual I'm working that day.
Under 2 weeks till this event now and it's looking good as got it organised with camping and evening entertainment and sunday car show so all go now. if not already booked can turn up on the day

Thanks guys for all that are going to attend but there's a charity evening on the saturday so can even attend that if you can't make it on the sunday and condition of car or even age doesn't matter as someone is even bringing a project thats nearly finished

Thank you guys for coming it was a lovely sunny day and all proceeds are going to the Clatterbridge Cancer Centre Charity so will be a really worthwhile cause as they treat a lot of the northwest including Isle of Man , Liverpool , wirral, and Wales etc. nice to see some Volvos and meet the owners I will have to come to some meets and get to know more of you guys. We wanted more cars but what we had was good quality ones so really pleased how the day went and as soon as we count all money up will let you know how much we raised this year. I'm already thinking of what next but I need to convince my mate Richie who was the other organiser first.
