how to search specific thread in forum.

I am new to this! How do I search for specific words, fraces type: cartype and item/issue, and only get the post(s) containing this fraces. i tried putting "XXX XXXXX" it seams that this not works. There must be other ways? I would search, this search too if i new how, ehe! Thanks for any help!

To be honest the search isn't the greatest but to do car type and issue click on Advanced Search, select the "Search Single Content Type" tab. Pop your keyword in and select the model specific forum that matches the car you're interested in. Hope that helps anyway :-)
