As I'm about to start breaking the Cougar I thought I'd get a couple of photos of it with the C70. It's been a great car, and is still great to drive, but unfortunately tin worm has got to it, and it's going to cost too much to repair, also it's worth more in parts.
It's come a long way from when I bought it.

It looked even racier at Castle Combe last year.
Nice I had a brand new cougar v6 as a courtesy car when someone crashed into my old merc back in 2000 and it was seriously quick infact so quick even a T5 would struggle to keep up with it over a certain stretch of road, nothing to do with the power but seriously the cougar would do 100 plus mph between 2 roundabouts and the Volvo would struggle with wheelspin and getting compossure a great chassis and the v6 sounds great at high revs I struggled to get more than low 20s mpg but enjoyed it and it only had about 100 miles on the clock when they dropped it with me :-)
Shame about the rot, on an 'X' plate as well, though it does look a nice example.....though being sensible breaking is the only thing to do, more money for the C70 :biggrin:
I love the sound of the V6, and with a K&N57i, decat and mongoose exhaust on it, mine really howls.

I've never seen one that has been lowered and detailed like yours mate. she looks really nice, how Ford should have made them in the first place. Shame.

My mate had a couger v6 few years back in the blue colour, was a good motor but he lost thousands on it in the space of 12 months. I've never seen one look so well as yours though & not ott like the wings west kit my mate had. Lol I do prefer the c70 though, not just due to the colour either.

I had 3 Mondeos before I bought the Cougar, I loved the way the Mondeo drove, just wanted something that looked a bit different.
