Degrease and Clean 18t Unit

Well the time has come to clean the first of my 2 18t turbos and stupidly i have started with the dirtier of the 2 this is how is came Image Image Image Image bit dirty me thinks and after 2 hrs of scrubbing and a whole can of Kooler Kleen and a pack of 6 toothbrushes i've only got to this :( Image Image Image Image Image Image Image Image Image fingers crossed tomorrow it will look like how a clean nice turbo should look but as for the second one looks like my son will have to earn his pocket money cleaning that :)

Looks like you need a stiffer brush..... Toothbrushes are probably too flexible to smash that grim away

i was gunna say tickling it with some tooth brushes isnt going to get far.... and some proper degreaser would make it easy enough by the looks of it, i love grubby jobs like this lol very self rewarding

I got so oven cleaner from pound land to do my inlet manifold, best stuff ever! Fumes took your breath away but the results were great!

i'd unbolt the recirc & actuator to get the knucks & crannies easier
