The satin finish makes the paint catch ambient light, giving it a glow.

Doesn't look half bad.

Post 581596 by stribo on 2013-03-07 08:26:28

I'd go with either gold or bronze.

Post 581661 by graemewelch on 2013-03-07 14:10:02

im thinking silver or a dark silver might be the way to go. thats if i keep them.

Post 581675 by jotter22 on 2013-03-07 14:50:43

The problem with those graeme is the way the spokes protrude from the rim! If you touch the kerb you end up scuffing the spokes and not the rim edges. A guy at work has a similar set and his are a mess. Tony.

Post 581683 by graemewelch on 2013-03-07 15:37:18

one has kerbing and its not on the spoke it on the edge. not sure how hes done. thell look phat though when spaced out 15mm

Sorry but I prefer the Nebulas, That colour above does look very smart though.

Post 581975 by graemewelch on 2013-03-08 10:36:58

nebs are my winter wheels.ive got a full set of almost new 18" rubber. if i dont like them when done i can sell them on. there different though. get sick of seeing the same 4 sets of wheels on s60's. nebs pegs bbs ch wheels.

Post 581977 by danny-R on 2013-03-08 10:56:36

I may change my mind once I see them on the car though, that photoshop doesn't do them justice.
.... have got extra long wheel bolts but might paint the heads black.
Dont paint them black, buy some covers. I bought a set of the TPi covers and they look great - available in Black or Chrome 17mm & 19mm. Once pushed on, they're near impossible to come off without using the 'tongs' that come in the kit, so no fear of accidentally losing any. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/17MM-TPI-ALLOY-WHEEL-WHEEL-NUT-BOLT-COVERS-BLACK-CHROME-/190820373928?pt=UK_Cars_Parts_Vehicles_Wheels_tyres_Trim_Nuts_ET&hash=item2c6dc7d5a8
