Hi All,
Very recent owner of a V40 2l T (picking up in the morning type recent ) , which replaces my J reg VW Polo that decided to mate with a crash barrier last week during a freak hail/freezing rain storm on the motorway.
New cars a Sport Lux, which is most approved by my mother (Saab 9-5 Aero estate owner) I know already it needs a new grill and has a small patch of paint that needs attention on the bottom of the drivers door.
Will upload pics once I get her home 2moz night.
:)

Welcome, Looks nice.
Replace those orange side lights for smoked ones though, they look much better.

Thanks for the welcome guys.
Well I got her home last night from the snows of Cheshire.
Runs well, has only been doing 2 miles a day for the last 2/3 years so took it very easy for the first 50miles as everything felt a bit stiff, but was serviced in August, is going to get another one full service next week.
Also got a mountain of receipts/invoices for work done since new (think there is a original sales one too), was serviced by various volvo dealers until 3 years ago after that the garage servicing it has written everything down in the service book, all electrics work as they should, radio and speakers work perfectly too.
But it does have a few little niggles, someone's been a bit heavy handed in the boot and the plastics seem to have been wrenched from the body work so the clips will need plastic welding back on, clip that holds the "dip" bulb on the passenger side is missing, has a faint aroma of being smoked in and some ash dusting here and there (ashtrays are like new ddo) apparently it was kept in the owners workshop and his son said that he smoked like a chimney while working in there, and needs a new radiator top hose as the jubilee clip has possibly cut into it (antifreeze deposits on clip).
Any recommendations for Oil? 5w-30 Fully synth? Also where could I get that little wire clip for the lamp?
Also any good places for sourcing parts?
Thanks
