Hi folks, thought it was about time we should all get together again, Two Henrys Shrewsbury on the 28/4/13 unless anybody has any other bright ideas of where to meet up and when.
I have just started us a sub-group on the forum at http://www.vpcuk.org/forums/group.php?groupid=15, with the idea being that it will make meet-up communication easier and has the added benefits of group photo gallery and discussion tools, so sign up and lets make great use of this forum tool, it's there for our benefit, get yourself signed up

Just giving this a swift kick back out there, if your all still up of it ? I had been experimenting with the group messaging, but so far only one person has seen it and that would appear just to be luck. Can any one tell me , if a group message is sent, do the group members get a notification that they have a message, as this dosen't appear to be happening

put it out as a group discussion, thought that would be a way to reach all group members. Should I do this differently in future?

Looks like group messages are not notified unless you are subscribed :/
On the bright side we have added Group Discussions to the new sidebar (on the right :) ) and a Groups tab on the navigation bar at the top of the page.
Also you can access new group messages via the 'What's New' tab on the nav bar. And if you miss some theres an extra link in the Quick Links menu.

So who's up for it then, I might bright the T5-R despite her lack of rear damping. All of you that are group members ( and also those that might want to know what we have going on and may want to join us ) should be able to see any new group discussion on the new side bar the forum has added, any member can put things up for group discussion and they'll appear on the side bar so we can all see both new and old topics as posts go up.
Hope to see you all Sunday

Well thank-you Graham, I had orginally wash the V50 to go as the T5-R has a badly leaking heater matrix (the stress of drag racing finished it of,as it was on its way out), but as I had a bit of time spare I decide to wash the 850 and then thought it would be a shame not to take it, so I took a tub of water with me to top it up when I got there and all was good. Glad I took it, but miffed that it rained on the way home and its dirty again !!!!

Whilst at the meet on Sunday, Mark (1112Lewis) was asking about the number plates on my T5-R, so I though I'd pop up a link to where I got mine, in case anybody else wanted to do some for themselves

P.s. Mark budget brake kit link to company, you may have to mail them as you should need 302mm and this link is for 280mm but it will point you in the right direction, these are grooved and dimpled, so you won't get the cracking from the holes as happens on the drilled one's. This is a budget kit, but for the money I can't fault it and I've really cooked mine and no apparent distortion
