After lots of reading got my membership sorted. Really enthused after Volvo Driving day at MIRA last week so makes me feel like owning the S60R is a special thing!! Put up with the crap turning circle but anyone got any ideas where to get the graphite paint (rather than hammerite grey) to touch up the factory rims?

Live in Solihull work in Stourport so got a good mix of boring m/ways but some interesting cross country stuff too - shame about the 2 Counties mobile cameras though!! Will have to spend some time trying to work out how to get photo album set up on site but will post once done. Like your motor - great colour and shame Volvo don't give us so much freedom of choice these days!! Tom................

Just goes to say why my local dealer is changing hands - they didn't get my business in June (buying the car) and their Service people didnt seem to know I could get the paint - they are the clever ones who suggested I buy hammerite grey!!! Now have found out that my original supplying dealer is taking on that location so maybe my first service can be carried out with some confidence rather than travelling 50 miles each way. I'll wait and see...... Thanks for the info - will be going out to get the paint tomorrow.....

Sapphire black, gobi sand interior & those anthracite 18". also upgraded sound & reversing sensors. Had aftermarket satnav fitted after firend at Volvo told me of screen problems with OE satnav after some use with speaker vibrations. Will never buy OE satnav again!! Also had daytime lights turned off after being pulled over on 2nd day!!

Clocked at 78mph on M6 near Corley services at 0700 on a Sunday morning (enroute to Brands Race Day) but not done. Friendly cop said it was my cherished number that caused the 'blue'. Their system still showed it as my old car not the Volvo from which Dealer had arranged transfer for day of collection. Cop also said the dealer could turn off daylights (with laptop!) which would have reduced my visibility to them by a few seconds - anything for a few seconds!!

Sorry forgot last part of your question:- Freedom day was just test drives which did persuade me to buy. Last week was Freedom Plus event which is high speed & safety oriented driving day and brilliant. Driven at circuit competition pace in V70R by F3 champion while rest of time driving/tutored to vehicle control with me driving! If it's the latter would highly recommend...
