i did think about cleaning and painting axle but it would be the ONLY time it will ever get cleaned..............have cleaned / painted springs and shocks........
so will look nice for a week or so...................................or until i go to workshop again...............
they are my old wheels on shrecks car............been refurbed in crystal white............they do look good on his car and really suit it

If they are the standard 850 T5 wheel they don't clear the caliper by about 2 mm :(

Would you do it to your car?? I'm not to worried about mods but when it comes to brakes Hummmm..... the caliper material is made/designed to a spec in the 1st place for a reason. ill effects or not, id buy some 302's and fit wheels that clear them properly for peace of mind and i aint Minted by any standard.
to this......................
which were the right shape to hold on this..................
then proceeded to make new brake pipes for the rest of the rear beam.................
then fitted new shoes and pads and fitted refurbeddiscs and modified calipers
all i have to do now is fit rear beam back on vinny......................another day perhaps
was joined by shreckblackr as one of his rear calipers was sticking on.......................apologies for fuzzy pic
then we cured the front wheels from rubbing.........................but only after shreck prayed to the wheel gods
all sorted.....................
